Livi UK and Scan.com Partner to Expand Access to Diagnostic Imaging Services
London, 10 March 2026 – digital healthcare provider Livi UK today announces a strategic partnership with Scan.com, the UK’s leading private diagnostic imaging platform, to broaden access to fast-track scans for patients across the UK. The partnership brings Scan.com’s nationwide network of imaging services into Livi’s private healthcare ecosystem, offering direct booking for MRI, CT, ultrasound, X-ray and other scan types through Livi’s platform.
This integration enhances Livi’s existing healthcare offering, enabling both business-to-business (B2B) employee benefits and employee assistance programme (EAP) partners including health assurance schemes) and B2C self-pay patients to access diagnostic imaging with greater convenience and choice.
With demand for diagnostic tests continuing to grow and NHS waiting lists for imaging remaining a systemic challenge, swift access to scans is increasingly critical. According to Nuffield Trust in January 2025, nearly 759,000 MRI scans and 767,000 CT scans were conducted in England alone, collectively making up around 60 percent of diagnostic test activity, and some patients still waited over six weeks for tests to take place.
Scan.com partners with over 300 scanning centres across the UK, enabling patients to find and book appointments and receive comprehensive support from initial consultation through to digital reporting.
Dr Tom Davis, UK Country Manager & Medical Director of Livi UK, said: “Our partnership with Scan.com marks an important step in expanding diagnostic options for our patients and employer partners. By integrating Scan.com’s imaging network into Livi’s digital healthcare platform, we are empowering people with faster access to vital diagnostic scans - a key part of the patient journey that can accelerate diagnosis and intervention.”
Lizzie Tuckey, Managing Director, Scan.com, said:
“We’re delighted to be partnering with livi UK to support broader access to essential medical imaging. Scan.com’s mission has always been to enable faster diagnoses by making imaging more accessible for all, and working with Livi means we can reach more patients and corporate partners who value timely, transparent access to imaging services.”
